I was contacted by a Good Morning America (ABC), asking me if I'd like to do an interview with them about the neighborhood dispute.
I declined, just like I declined the local Channel 7 interview. My goal is not national media attention; I just want a little guaranteed quiet time. I just want a little consideration from my neighbors. I don't want much --
just 8.33%.

If the network interviews the Mercers,
it should be entertaining.

Watch them avoid the facts and the truth. Watch them bring up irrelevant and misleading "facts" in an attempt to turn the discussion into something other than what it's really all about. Watch them try to get people to emotionally focus on their liberal use of the words "children", "hate" and "hurt" and whatever other emotional words they can conjure up. Listen to them say "We were here FIRST". Watch them avoid all the real issues.
I'd like them to tell everyone:
- Why they put the playground only 8' from my house, when they warned me in advance it was going to be a problem before they turned one shovel full of landscaping dirt?
- Why they agreed to, and signed the first mediated settlement and then cheated on it in just 34 days?
- Why they continued to cheat on the agreement for the next 3 years? (See "The Cheating Chronicles")
- Why when I offered to extend the weekday quiet time from 6:30pm to 7:00pm in exchange for them actually honoring the agreement, the began cheating again in just 67 days and continual since then?
- Why they refused to even tell me they were breaking the agreement this year. Instead
they said they were not breaking it,
as their children screamed on the trampoline past 7:00pm on weekdays night after night?
- Does their WORD mean anything?
- Where did they come up with the
"hate"
and
"hurt"
words?
- Why do they complain bitterly about my security cameras, when they've installed a slide platform (and watch tower) up against the property line?
