I've pleaded with Jeff and Donna to move the playground to the other side of their property, in the logical location behind their garage.
- I have offered to pay to have the watch-tower platform removed.
- I have offered to help him move the playground.
- I have even offered to pay the full professional landscaper cost of moving the entire playground (landscaping, sod and sprinkler and the actual moving) to the other side of their property.
I asked the Mercers neighbor on the other side, who lives on their west side, if he would mind if the playground were moved to his side, and was pleasantly surprised that he didn't (but wait until he gets a taste of the little screamers...).

Jeff and I discussed my offer, and then he started whining that he needed a " landscaping plan", and " it's the holidays, you know"
and he was concerned about the little tree he has planted behind his garage, since he says it will someday provide shade for his home (the towering slide platform and cover would provide shade NOW).
It was apparent that Jeff had no intention of solving the problem. We had the perfect solution. The Mercers could move the playground to the other side of their back yard at my expense and their other neighbors didn't mind. But the Mercers wouldn't agree.

Every time I'd complain about the noise, he'd say, "they're children, Larry". He must think his children screaming and screeching is music to his ears and what's wrong with me for not liking it?
Objectionable loud oppressive noise is noise, no matter the source.
