Last Thursday morning, I removed the www.FeelMyPain.net sign from the front of my house.

Tonight I removed the www.FeelMyPain.net sign and the NoScreaming sign from the side of my house.

It was time to remove them. I kept them all in place for 7 days.

I received a letter yesterday (dated 6/3/2003) from my HOA demanding that the signs be removed by 5/7/2003, else a fine may be imposed. I know it was a mistake, but the letter showed it was written a year ago, and was demanding that I take action before the letter was written. I got a good laugh, but I know what they meant. They threatened me with a $25 fine, and higher and higher fines for as long as I ignored their demands. I consider the HOA to be doing selective enforcement of the covenants against selective homeowners.

There is example after example of covenant violations in the area the HOA covers, and I doubt those homeowners have been warned or fined by the HOA. The violations go on for weeks, months and years, but I get a warning letter.

Like I said, selective enforcement against selective homeowners.

I could have dragged this out at least another week, making them send another letter with the correct dates, and a $25 fine for another week after that... But it was time to let things settle down.


I've been told the Mercers may get a free attorney to take their case (case for what?). Using email, this attorney called me an "Asshole" and wrote: (bad grammar and all)
  • With Donna being pregnant, I say let her keep having kids each year you live next to them.

  • Plus when the "Haskels" get their hot tub going, your going to get alot of XXX video, maybe that is not a bad thing you could sell it on Ebay and make a alot of money.

  • Grudges only get you burned.

See where this fake "attorney" is really just a scummy friend of the Mercers whom in collaboration with the Mercers orchestrated a harassment campaign against me.



I've been advised that my security camera is not breaking any laws. The police officer who arrived when Jeff Mercer called the police when I asked his children to be quiet said the same thing. The police officer who investigated the attempted arson at my house, also said the same thing.

And last week I got email from what I believe to be an Ambulance Chasing Attorney threatening me. He says he does not know me or the Mercers.

The facts and opinions offered on this web site are the truth as I know it. Today I got another email telling me how wrong I am. The person said he looked at the pictures I've posted and said they were lies.

"Looking at the pictures on your website I see numerous falsehoods of yours, lies if you are so inclined."

Is he accusing me of doctoring the pictures? No, he just hates the facts. I asked him for specifics, as I always ask when someone tells me I am wrong. Nobody ever gives information; they just accuse me of lying.

When the side yard camera was installed, it was just part of a set of cameras around my house (and the last installed). I was not worried about the Mercers from a personal and property security standpoint (yet).


Since then, there have been two rock throwing incidents from that play area, so there is now a legitimate security concern from the Mercers property. And considering the attempted arson last week , all the cameras are now needed to monitor my property.

Very many of the negative emails are from people who say they know the Mercers or imply they do. I've even had someone ask why I don't attend the street Christmas party every year. What has that got to do with this situation? Whether I attend a street Christmas party every year does not change one single fact I have written.

I still firmly believe that if people would think about all the facts, that most would agree the playground is way too close to my home and that I have a legitimate complaint. I have received so many emails supporting my position, from people that don't know me or the Mercers. When emotion is present, I am a monster, when emotion is not present, people understand my position. Why is that?

Some may argue it's because only one side has been presented to the readers of this website that don't know anyone involved. I believe I have presented a factual description of the entire situation. I argue that those that do know something about the situation, don't know me, and have been presented with a one sided distorted view of the situation for the past four years by the Mercers.

If my presentation is so one sided, why can't just one person, just one, tell me something that I have presented that is not true? The accusations fly about my accuracy, Even the Mercers, whom I made a special offer to about accuracy on this website have not contacted me with any requests about any of my information.

When people see the significant facts, they see why I don't like the playground equipment so close to my house. When people add other irrelevant truths and outright lies and meaningless trivia, they attack me.

People have accused me of spying on my neighbors, of being a busy body. When the noise and lack of privacy from the Mercers playground is rubbed in my face (ears), it would be hard not to notice.

On the other hand, let's talk about some of the attacks that have made against my position.
  • They have mentioned my age,
  • They have guessed on the equity in my house,
  • They have questioned my participation in the neighborhood Christmas parties.
  • They have questions about a gargoyle in my back yard (who is staring into who's yard anyway?).
  • They seem to feel threatened that I stick to myself ???
  • They seem to keep track of my guests.
Just who are the busybody's anyway? Who is spying on whom?
